The department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) is established in the academic year 2023-2024. The department has UnderGraduate (UG) program with intake capacity of 60. The program is approved by A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune.

The AI and Data Science branch focuses on developing, applying, and advancing technologies and methodologies in artificial intelligence and data science. This branch typically involves various activities such as research, development, implementation, and education in AI and data science to solve complex problems, improve decision-making, and innovate across different fields.

The AIDS branch also emphasizes the importance of ethical AI, ensuring that AI technologies are developed and deployed responsibly and equitably. By integrating AI and data science into fields such as healthcare, finance, marketing, and public services, the branch aims to improve quality of life, optimize processes, and create personalized experiences.

The Department has experienced faculty members. The department has well equipped laboratories with latest configurations. The department provides students with better computational infrastructure, knowledge in recent & advanced technologies so as to contribute to emerge as one of the best technology department. The department strives to help students build learning & adaptability in developing technical knowledge through collaborative research. The curriculum of AI and DS is prescribed by SPPU. The curriculum includes core subjects and elective subjects based on recent trends in AI and DS.
