Program Educational Objectives (PEO's)
- Plan, design, manufacture, maintain and improve systems that are technically sound, economically feasible and socially acceptable in the field of Mechanical and allied industries.
- Solve problems of engineering and social relevance by applying knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and advanced tools for sustainable development.
- Work effectively as individual and as team member in multidisciplinary projects, and demonstrate managerial and entrepreneurial skills.
- Engage in lifelong learning, career enhancement and adopt to changing professional and societal needs.
Program Specific Outcome (PSO)
- Apply the knowledge, design procedures, mathematical and advance tools for the design and evaluation of mechanical components and systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to evaluate the performance of thermal and fluid systems for effective energy conversions.
- Select and apply appropriate manufacturing technologies and tools; and to develop competencies for working in manufacturing and allied industries.
