Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2007-08 and Postgraduate course started in 2014. The Department seeks to combine excellence in education with service to the industry. Mechanical engineering is a challenging, rewarding and highly respected profession. Our department is actively engaged in research across various domains, including composites, electric and hybrid vehicles, solar-thermal engineering, design analysis, advanced welding, robotics and refrigeration & air conditioning.
